So difficult, despite the critics I love listening to Lifeblood...just evokes many memories. That said THB is class and I'm enjoying PFAYM and the only disappointing fact about the latter is the lack of it on the current tour!

I still, and probably always will, flit between THB and EMG as their best albums. One has Faster, the other A Design For Life. I can't choose between them.

Nicky contributes one of his best ever lyrics in "This Is Yesterday". James has never sounded better and his guitar playing is stunning. And Sean underpins all of it with the best drumming he would ever do (until JFPL, which I maintain is a total showcase for the awesomeness of Sean's thumping).

The only close rivals are EMG and JFPL, but both have just a little something missing. But not much. Altogether, those stand as the three best Manics albums for me because they so perfectly combine the talents of all 4 members.
I can agree with you, (except the KYE libel that has been removed)

It's a hard one actually as my favourite album wouldn't be what I'd consider their best album. JFPL would be my choice for best album, there's no flaw's with it's just a brilliant album from start to finish. For favourite I'd have voted SATT, it's so short and sweet and every time I get to the end I want to play it again.

I voted for my favorite rather then the *best*, we all know the Holy Bible is the best thing they'll ever do, hell it's a timeless cult record which'll exist through the ages.... Completely original, completely brilliant.
