Oh, then maybe that really was Toady from Neighbours that I saw afterwards and not just an uncanny lookalike?

No way! Alan Fletcher is a Manics fan! I suppose most of the cast of Neighbours have probably hung out with Kylie at some point so she's probably been spreading the word, bless her!

In a magazine I read once (probably NME) someone from The Horrors said Manics were his first favourite band, in a way that implied he grew out of them, but still had a little soft spot for them. I imagine the others think they are too cool and experimental for such 'dad rock'.

Anyone see Nicky with her for a half an hour programme on channel four seven years ago. Where he said Hurt covered by Johnny Cash was his favourite song, dedicated God Save The Queen to the Queen, said he loved All These Things That I Have Done by the Killers (said his daughter always said 'Daddy Song' when it came on because he played it so much) (before Killers were hugely successful). Sadly can't remember the other two songs he chose.

Anyway there was great rapport between them.

Aw, I love "All These Things That I've Done" too! And that explains why there were all those gospel choirs on PFAYM, maybe...

I know the programme you mean. If I recall, it was on late at night on ITV. The name of the show escapes me.....
