If you take the city centre as Oxford Circus, then walk to Bond Street Tube Station and it'll be anout 25 minutes on the jubilee line to North Greenwich.

Assuming it starts early because of the length of the set, at say 7pm, maybe to be on the safe side leave at 5:30pm so you've got an hour and a half for the tube, the short walk to the o2 and time for drinks/merchandise/food etc. That'll be more than enough time and you won't miss the start. I think it's best to be on the safe side and give yourself more time in case they play Love's Sweet Exile or something like that first off, and it'd be crap to miss that!

I'm sure you know this already but for any travel stuff this site is invaluable:

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
By number 2 I meant that here in Italy you can buy directly your tickets in a store, OR buy them on the internet and let them send them to your house (but they charge a lot of money for this), OR buy them on the internet and take them straight to the show, in a different queue.

Anyway, I think 5.30 is fair. Tube (I know it quite well), short walk, and merchandise. And then gig.

Thanks very much!

And, for the other links, won't it be expensive to receive the tickets straight to my home? Maybe it's better printing them, if it's possible...

Thanks very much (and I'm waiting for an answer to my pm )
There are two different presales right now. One for the o2 customers (at ticketmaster) and one for Manics fans (at gigsandtour).
Gigsandtour don't charge you for the shipping costs...I mean, they already charge you A LOT for random fees, so the shipping is included.
Ticketmaster, if I'm not mistaken, charges you even if you decide to print the tickets by yourself, so...

Yep, my smartphone goes nuts when it comes to reading/sending pm's, so wait till I get home

I'm in, I've just bought my tickets.

Now to prepare for cramped tube trains.

Gigs & Tours hates me. They won't process my payment. I talked to my card company and it's not them. The charge hasn't even gotten to them to decline. And I've actually had them put a note on my account so that it doesn't get declined for being a foreign transaction Friday through ticketmaster.

I don't want to wait until Friday! Grrrrrr.

Screw getting the tube back, I've booked a room at the Fuller's Inn down the road. I stayed there when I went to see Public Enemy last year. It's a nice place.

I wasn't going to go but friend of mine got us a couple of tickets. Just dreading the o2 a bit. Just overwhelming in size

Well, would that be truly Diva-like?

I like a decent place and I like staying in the Kensington/Notting Hill/Holland Park area of London.

Even cheaply, back in the good old days of horrific exchange rates, London was still very expensive.

Near as in, can you walk round to it or near as in a few tube stops away?
