I flicked through the magazine in Morrisons tonight and the top 50 or whatever it was of the last decade but pretty poor. Strokes were #1, I laughed and left the shop.
But I saw in Q magazine they had JFPL at #5 in albums this year which made me happy.

Which is funny considering how Pete's kept a decent career and sort of saved himself and Dirty Pretty Things seemed to have died a death...yeah I think Carl Barat's shit really, seeing as I rather love Babyshambles debut, along with Pete's solo album.

Anyway, I was going to vote, but given how people are voting it seems like a smart person would be better off not doing it.

If you hate an album vote low, if you love an album vote high, don't just vote one album 10 a hundred times and give everything else a 1. It's highly foolish and embarrasing.

DPT-Waterloo to Anywhere was way better than anything post Libertines that Pete has done, admittedly the last album was the worst of anything any of the two have done post libertines but Pete has directly affected 2 people in my life with his drug antics so i have a natrual disliking for him.

SG thinks the thing is rigged because when she went on to vote certain albums came up more often than others - "I shall be very surprised if the new Manics album doesn't win".
