That's easy, "Deathpiss" is the most under-rated

On the basis of a really good album that is under appreciated it has to be Lifeblood for me.

It's a shame the band have fuck all respect for it.

JFPL because it's the best thing they'll ever produce, and whilst the critics noticed, the public largely didn't.

The critics were all over it though weren't they? Don't think I read a review below 4 stars. Was amazed when it didn't at least get a Mercury nod.

I never understood the point of willfully not promoting that record.

It's a crime Green Day had the more successful album of that title.
Except for the fact that they didn't.

Wow that's amazing. In a way I'm glad to be that out of touch from it!
In my defence "It was always one or the other". No idea how I got that mixed up, but I'm not editing. Happy Holidays!

No, it wasn't!

Rage Against The Machine and Green Day both had songs called "Know Your Enemy", but neither band ever had an album with that title.

I have to admit, it was a rubbish joke on my part!

Lifeblood will breeze into victory of this poll easier than Usain Bolt in a 100m sprint...

GATS for me though. Often maligned but it contains Sleepflower, From Despair to Where, La Tristesse Durera, Life Becoming A Landslide and Roses In The Hospital – five fucking great tracks.

There is that... Lol.

But to me Lifeblood is two or three really strong tracks and a lot of 'meh'.... I've tried given the mad love it gets on here but I just don't get it.

I didn't consider JFPL under-rated because critically it was a resounding success as far as I could see, and I don't like a lot of Know Your Enemy.

Yes I agree, but I think if you asked even a fairly clued-up muso type (or critic) to mention the great MSP albums it'd be forgotten. The band themselves seem to be "resting" it as well, which is a real pity. I think it'll be remembered as THB's little brother, and I don't think that's fair - if anything it's much more mature/nuanced.
