Deep C*ts - Know Your Enemy Take 2

With most of the voting done now & as promised, here's take 2 of KYE with Epicentre & The Convalescent replacing the lowest polling tracks i.e. Wattsville Blues & Royal Correspondant.

So feel free to vote again...

I'm confused, isn't this just the same as the previous two polls for this album?

No there was some anger at the fact that Epicentre wasn't on the initial list!

Some baffling voting. Surprised by the love for Freedom of Speech ("Richard Gee-AH's eyes!") and Dead Martyrs.

Can't believe people like The Convalescent more than Wattsville or Royal Correspondent...

Swapped my Wattsville vote to Epicentre, stuck with His Last Painting and Baby Elian for the others.

Regards,
Marwood.

Voted for;

'Intravenous Agnostic' - everything about this song shows them stretching themselves. The lyric is Nick at his most abstract but makes a serious point at the same time. James goes mad on the guitar in a way he's never attempted since. And it rocks like a bastard.

'Epicentre' - just beat the also lovely 'His Last Painting'. I love the interplay between the acoustic and electric guitars and the way the song really builds over the course of its five minutes until the final 'You don't drink' kiss-off. And sadly 'HLP' isn't quite as good as...

'Freedom Of Speech Won't Feed My Children' - Wire lashing out at international politics (and especially American foreign policy) in a way that spiteful and funny in all the right ways. Wedded to a kick-ass tune, and makes me wish they'd do a whole album with David Holmes.
