Are you looking forward to festival season?
"Yeah, everything is about trying to get the new album ['Resistance Is Futile.] to breathe in as many ways and places as it can. It feels like an album that needs to be heard in bigger spaces."

Other than the new stuff, what can we expect from your sets on tour?
"We'll be playing some proper obscurities like 'Forever Delayed', 'Prologue To History' and 'Horses Under Starlight', and we've been practicing some tracks to celebrate 20 years of [1998 album] This Is My Truth...'."

Anyone else you're looking forward to seeing this summer?
"I'm looking forward to seeing Liam [Gallagher] at Rize Festival. I'd love to catch Sunflower Bean somewhere. I'm massively addicted to that record ['Twentytwo In Blue']. It's the first band I've wanted to be in for a long, long time. Everything about them - the visuals, the look, the lyrics, and [Julia Cumming] is an amazing bassist. Everything about them is ultra-cool. You just think 'why isn't that being embraced by everybody on a gigantic level?"
