But frontman James Dean Bradfield says he's struggling to come up with a title for the new record

Body Manic Street Preachers have confirmed they have started work on a new album.

The Welsh trio, who left their future plans uncertain after a greatest hits show at London's O2 Arena last year, are currently working on their 11th studio album according to frontman James Dean Bradfield.

He told Bang Showbiz: I'm trying to find a good word for the next record. I'm not going to say esoteric because no-one wants to hear that word, it's not even eclectic.

Bradfield added: But it's not the mess up of 'Lifeblood', which was disconnected and didn't have much life blood. Actually, it was quite blood-less! I think we've done something much better this time. Although work is under way on the follow up to 'Postcards From A Young Man', the singer said it won't be released until 2014.

The band recently re-released their 18-track debut album 'Generation Terrorists'. Bradfield hinted that they may also follow suit with other releases from their back catalogue.

The Welsh trio recently said they'd love to write and record music for WWE wrestler Wade Barrett. Let's just put this out there - if you're listening Wade Barrett we will do your fucking theme tune - just get in touch, Bradfield said. That would be the ultimate Situationist, bizarrest spectacle wouldn't it? Us being played over the airwaves in some enormodome in front of 20,000 mad Yanks in Colorado somewhere.

Barrett is from Lancashire in England and entered WWE in June 2010.
