El homenaje tiene su origen en las letras escritas sobre el chileno por el poeta y dramaturgo Patrick Jones, hermano de Nicky Wire, el bajista de los Manics y, para muchos, su líder en la sombra. El músico sintió inmediatamente la necesidad de convertir en canciones esos poemas cuando los leyó, a principios de 2019. MÚSICA POLÍTICA
