You won't have any problem selling the Dublin ones.

Wife giving me hassle though.
I have Roger Waters in Dublin on the 18th (me and a friend), Manics in Dublin (me, 2 friends and the wife) on the 20th and potentially the Manics in Belfast on the 21st. Belfast would probably be me on my own, which I'd be happy enough about. |

So wish I was going to this. Went to the JFPL show at the Ulster Hall in May 09. Met the band afterwards too. So easy to get around the back door where their minibus is and wait for them. Sean is always lurking and is by far the coolest to talk to. Complete legend.
I would go it the show is going to be a wee bit different - but if it is just the usual "hits" with some new album tracks then I don't think its worth it for me personally. But they are rumoured to be playing Prologue and SATT on this tour.... Decisions decisions! |

I'm worried about traveling to Ireland for a gig incase the ferry got cancelled or something!
If I were to get tickets to this gig, would anyone be interested in swopping them for tickets for the Dublin gig? I could possibly afford to get to dublin. Will know by thurs if I can afford it I really hope this will mean they're adding more dates, maybe one in Liverpool (a girl can hope! ) |

Dublin tickets booked for me and mad-as-burnt-toast. There's no way we are going to miss a hometown show in Belfast's best venue.

May well consider going to the Belfast show as well as the Dublin show. I wonder would the setlist be the same one night after the other?

They normally swap 2 or 3 songs in and out depending on the gig but the main setlist in terms of order will almost be identical.

Only reason I'm thinking so is the travel up, Belfast is 2 and a half hours on the bus and there is always dodgy heads on the bus up. I usually finish work at 4 30 on Saturdays but could ask to work through my lunch break and get off at 3 30. We don't open Sundays so I wouldn't have to worry about the next day. It would most likely be a solo trip for me if I go to Belfast.

Well the Ulster Hall gig in May 09 was amazing in a very nice venue. If it were me I wouldn't go to both gigs but I have a phobia of buses (no joke lol!) and I really don't think the setlist would be that much different to make the effort.
