Third down on the bill on The Other Stage - it's a bit sad, and undeserved.

Nina Persson and Cate le Bon back to back over on the Park Stage on Saturday, so you know where Nicky will be hiding

How dare they slag off Blackholes! But yeah, unlikely to be performed at a festival, never mind a gig!

When I went there in 2011, Eels where third down on the bill on the Other Stage, so I don't find it that disappointing tbh.

This is classic case of 'if they'd had split up and reformed, they'd have been higher up the bill'.
You can't have a band thats new single can't break the top 200 and expect them to be in a prime slot on the main stage. Plus they seemingly do the big festivals every other year, more or less.
Isn't this just the way of things for a band post-40, continue fading into obscurity?

Well, either split up or not release pale imitations of their hits until they became completely irrelevant. Not that it's done Metallica any harm, admittedly.

Anyway, this late afternoon/early evening set should officially rule out any lingering hopes of a Holy Bible set.

Good. I mean they need to promote Futurology anyway.

Surprised that they are as low down as they are though. A good festival band with big songs I kind of expected them to top the bill on the Other Stage or second at least.

Didn't they headline the Other Stage in 1994, when they didn't sell any records?
