Just watched EMG10 DVD for the first time in ages. It's the exact same stories. I'd forgotten the bit about Mike Hedges dipping his hand in brandy, setting fire to it and then waving at them in the dark. Definitely nicking that party trick!

More or less the same stories, but some nice reveals about writing processes and sales.

Worth a listen.

That BBC Imagine... programme about Shirley Bassey and her album 'The Performance' was on TV again last night, featuring James and Nicky and some lovely clips of The Girl From Tiger Bay's orchestration (wish we had clean audio of the whole track's music... sounds amazing to me). Still on iPlayer for 29 days if you're in the UK and you wanted to check it out...

Originally shown in 2009, my how time flies...

Thanks for this, I seem to remember the Manics being particularly funny in this.

Thanks... I listened to this... he talked about his soundtrack for The Chamber, not really any Manics news (other than talking about the 90s and a bit about the new studio) but worth a listen I think. A brief clip of the soundtrack was played - some very 'See It Like Sutherland'-sounding guitar in it I thought. Sounded good to me.

"My toolbox is a disgrace!"

Looking forward to hearing the soundtrack tomorrow!

Listening to that now, playing that Public Service Broadcasting track he did, just heading out to the pond where they used to read poetry.
