Like I say, they were quite literally giving them away free last year.

as I'm not going to Cardiff I might appear at that one, especially as I'm moving in London in July

They seem to be playing a lot of festivals around this time, wonder if they have post hb plans.

These are the plans surely? Standard practise to do your own gigs where you can then Hoover up a few quid at festivals

Count me and MSPKYE in for this one. As I said earlier in the thread, we wouldn't have bothered if we hadn't already made plans to be in London that weekend, but as it happens it fits in nicely with a couple of theatre trips!

It might be recoup money from the American tour which I presume was done at a loss again. But if they are going away from two years again, I guess they need some extra funds to see them through. Does anyone know if they have plans to THB sets for the festival gigs?

I thought there would have been a few european dates this year but I guess not...

I would have thought Cardiff would be a fitting way to round off THB gigs. I can't imagine they'll be playing THB in full at a festival sponsored by John Lewis and with Elbow as headliners. But they're welcome to try

I suspect, unless it says next to their name on the lineup "playing The Holy Bible" that they won't be and it'll be a hits/bits of Futurology set.

Looking forward to this festival and my Manics fix... They are a drug to me, already getting withdrawal symptoms x

This will almost certainly rank in the bottom of my 'favourite MSP gigs', but hey it's local and if the weather's good it'll be a nice excuse for a picnic.

Possibly tempted by this as I have always found Anna Calvi and Elbow great value live, so it would be three bands I know I like...
