James joining Shakin' Stevens and an Ed Sheeran collaborator at an event hosted by Alex Jones. Possibly the least cool thing he has ever daftly and no doubt kindly agreed to do.

There's been plenty of that - Tom Jones, The Beautiful South, not to mention one of M-People doing the percussion on GATS.

Why is there a random £10 option on the tickets?

Urgh I'm gonna be in Cardiff up to about an hour before this starts, shame too late and expensive to sort out train tickets, hotel and time off..

Fair point. And the Tom Jones collaboration is a guilty pleasure, in all honesty.

I love James' collab with Tom Jones!

Full of kindness is that James, just look at all the work he's done for the Missing People Charity in the past twenty years!

I hope that's sarcasm, for someone with such a great voice James doesn't get anywhere near the right pitch for it. From memory theres a moment on the Everything Live DVD (or possibly that backstage tour dvd, he's in a car somewhere ) where Nicky is clearly ripping the piss out of james' performance. When wire can criticize your vocals you're in trouble!

I was a huge Shakin' Stevens fan as a child
It's quite an interesting collaboration.
