Nice to see it jump up a few places, another week in the top 100, that's more now than the last few albums have managed! Some more shows and TV spots would help it even more but I guess it's over now in terms of promotion.

It’s still in the top 40 on sales too which includes digital ones.
http://www.officialcharts.com/charts...s-sales-chart/ That counts for something but they are very much dead to the streaming generation. *Goes back to listening to the new Ghost album on Spotify on repeat* |

Looks like a US pressing is coming:
https://upcomingvinyl.com/record/man...ance-is-futile I suspect 2xlp really means 1 lp, 1cd? |

The album is down to 91, 8 weeks in the chart though, very nice indeed

Very happy to see it still in the top 100 8 weeks in. Must have sold another 1000 units or so in the past week. If those G&R support slots were in the UK it might have helped sell a few more copies. Oh well. Onwards and upwards

Plus if the people who bought it over those eight weeks all bought a copy of their next one in the same week etc. We'll that's the theory driving the business anyway.
I don't think we've seen the last of it in the charts forever, but I can see it entering the bottom 30 sometime before Christmas then dropping back out. That coiuld add to the weeks on chart. But do feel the band will have been ended by 2028, just as RIF turns ten. |

Hopefully it can stay in the top 100 again for another week or two. It just needs people to buy it, simple as, which needs people to be aware of it. It's been £7.99 on Amazon for about 3/4 weeks now. I keep hearing Heaven on radio 2 all the time, I put it up when at work, one guy started humming along by half way through it

HMLAH now off the playlist on R2 but clinging on to the B List at 6Music.
I wouldn't be surprised if "People Give In" is the final single to coincide with the BBC Live In Hyde Park thing to wrap up the RIF era... ...then on to the TIMTTMY 20th Anniversary deluxe, fold-out poster 'n' badge, double sea foam coloured vinyl, pre-chewed cassette, cuddly-toy box set shenanigans for the rest of 2018. |

Was playing the album today and my girlfriend was humming along to most tracks and after HMLAH finished she said "I really like this album a lot" which for her is a massive statement, cos although she does like a lot of Manics stuff due to me brainwashing her, she doesn't consider herself a fan as such. I just thought it was nice to hear after reading so many comments on here from fans when the album came out saying it was basically crap.
