I was away when the O2 gig was announced and the tickets went on sale, so missed out on that one as well.

We have waited months for this announcement and surely organisers knew what was happening earlier and could have given more advance notice so that people can plan around it.

Also no pre-sale for fans which would have given me a chance to get tickets.

It really is time the band found someone else to organise their tours.

Just leave your debit/contact details for someone to use on friday morning?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have considered this and is one of the reasons why I would have liked a bit more advance notice.

I would have to arrange for someone to do this for me at very short notice whilst also preparing to go on a flight and cannot guarantee that I can get someone to do this at 9am when everyone is at work.

I would be prepared to take the day off as holiday to get tickets and have done before, but asking a friend to do that is asking a bit much and at such short notice.

Giving less than three days notice of ticket availability and for such an important set of gigs is quite frankly scandalous as people could miss out who for whatever reason (work commitments, being on holiday and not having access to the internet, moving house and not having internet set up yet etc) don't see the announcement.

I am really happy that the band are doing these gigs but some thought should be given by the organisers to people who have been waiting for this announcement for so long.

Strange this is the first tour they have done in ages with no pre sale link.

Really bad time of year for me, expensive airfare, and having to wake up before 2 a.m. to try to get one of 15,000 tickets available.

I've got to admit I was a bit surprised to see no cardiff date in the list, but then the motorpoint arena's schedule is already pretty full for december so maybe it just wasn't feasible. My fingers are tightly crossed that I'll be able to get tickets for dublin and manchester.

13 years of manics gigs and I haven't seen pcp live.

Hopefully that will change soon!!!

Hey, I was in the same boat until Glastonbury and Rough Trade. It'll be great when you finally hear it live, and yell your head off.

Me too but I was thankful they played it at the right tempo at Rough Trade!

Not alot to choose from venue wise. I will have a think about it anyway. Still got a couple of days left to take off from work. Going to Manchester for a theatre show soon so I'll be able to have a gad about and see what's where hopefully!

Very much doubt i will be going to any dates as im finding it a pig to get time off unless some one is willing to swap with me or my guvnor is willing to chamge shifts around either of which i hold out little hope for.

And missing my first tour since 1996 hoves itself into view

I called it quits after the o2 National Treasures gig, but if there's something that could tempt me out of retirement for one last job, like a skinny, melancholy (in)action hero, it's seeing them as a three-piece, doing these songs.

I have Friday morning off too. Hmmmm.

AS IF THIS IS HAPPENING. I know we have all been waiting for and sighing about it forever, but it almost didn't seem real then, and now it is, and oh my God.

I am quaking in my combat boots imagining the demand for these tickets, especially with there being no presale. Aiming for both Manchester dates... originally I was going to have Glasgow as a back-up/possible third, but after much pondering, I think I might be better going for the last London date to give me more recovery time inbetween gigs. Hrm. Hrrrrrm.

...WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR? HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE ALL THE FEELINGS?? WILL THEY PLAY SO LOUD WE ALL GET NOSEBLEEDS LIKE THEY DID FOR THE ASTORIA GIGS??? *___*
