Too bad the band seems kinda apathetic to whoever manages their sales sections and website in general to be honest. The merch section isn't even adjusted to USD (like, the hoodie they have is like $80-something USD lol no). A lot of bands are kinda all over their web content but it doesn't help that Nicky and James are technologically impaired, and Sean is just an enigma lol.

But it's not really their fault, I just wish the people in charge of this section were more competent. A mess all around.

They should jump to Radiohead's Sandbag like a lot of other bands have. It's not perfect but better than what they have now.

Manics online store not shipping to the US anymore, apparently...

I have never been able to purchase the pre-sale signed deluxe cds. Only the Postcards for a Young man with lyric sheet (that was no real treat). So this issue is nothing new in the US unfortunately. Interesting that Canada and Mexico can order though.

I purchased the Journals Double Signed CD, the National Treasures Box, the Postcards Box, and the Rewind the Film Double Signed CD. Extremely disappointed that the official store is not shipping to the U.S. anymore. Would have easily purchased the Futurology Signed Double CD and Vinyl...

Let's all write letters of complaint!

Newbury Comics usually stocks the vinyls when they come out, albeit very overpriced, but I think I'll just import from Amazon UK like I did with Rewind the Film.

Canada is now getting a release through Sony. Used to say 'import' only.

Depends whether Sony has an arrangement with its US distributor. Given the band's history and being unknown in the US, I wouldn't count on it.

Aren't they just as unknown in Canada?

Hmmm. In the US, they'd be 1 out of 10 in terms of being known. Canada, perhaps 3 out of 10. There is quite an extensive catalogue on Canadian iTunes.

I've been so disappointed with the last few albums (they're now just gathering dust), I'm reluctant to buy the new one from anywhere!

Sounds about right. Despite that, JFPL was released here along with the self-funded tour. Anyway I'll have to have my friend in Malaysia order this for me which seems silly.

You can't order from Amazon Canada? The US dollar is higher, so you get a 10% discount/exchange. I've also ordered from Amazon UK in the past.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do, one of those two.

I have my iTunes pre-order which'll tide me over til a physical copy turns up. Hopefully our HMV shop will be carrying a few copies.

I think the new songs are also on Google Play here. Might be worth checking out.
