I'm going to send a polite email complaint to Hall or Nothing and am encouraging others in the US to do so too.

Yeah it seems like an easy fix to allow order of the signed copy to USA. Unless theres a contractual reason not to. I mean Canada will get a release and the signed folio thing can be shipped there. Its odd.

I sent the polite email to Hall or Nothing and never got a response. About $30 USD to buy it from Amazon Canada.

The US dollar is higher, so you get a decent exchange rate.

It's not that great. As of right now, $1US buys $1.07C / $1C buys $.93US. Plus, there's a foreign currency conversion fee if you buy something with a credit card.
It's not like when I went to Canada six times in the late-1980s and 1990s, and $1US got me, at least, $1.20C!

Well, back then, the Canadian dollar was worth about 67 cents US. So, for us, a 40% exchange rate. You can check www.oanda.com for exchange rates.

Should be under $30 US easily.

I just checked, and the album is available on the US version of Amazon as an import to be released on July 15, for $23.47 on CD, or $50.16 (with free shipping) on vinyl. They're also showing a $39.98 CD to be released on July 8, but it doesn't seem to be any different than the cheaper one a week later.

That version is the single CD version - the non-deluxe one with the demo and bonus tracks. The $40 one would most likely be the deluxe version.

Well guess that means I'm going to illegally d/l the album. Can't get it on iTunes in the US either, same with Rewind the Film. Speaking of which, did it leak yet?

It's already dropped to $21.49 this week. Might still go down a dollar or two.

My iTunes download should occur sometime around 9 pm on July 7th.
