You thought so? I had a great day overall, but SFA was one of the worst performances I've ever seen.

Bloody hell! Feeling old again. Can't believe there are so few who saw them with Richey (so notable exceptions, some great small early shows you lucky bastards!!). Saw them at Cardiff Uni I think before THB came out and rocked so hard(!) I puked over the bloke in front of me, and I wasn't on the beers either. Also saw them on THB tour at the Astoria in Cardiff. Hottest gig I've ever been to, esp with the mighty Dub War supporting.

However the first time I saw them, and I hold my head in shame here, was opening for Bon Jovi at the Milton Keynes bowl Sept 18th 1993, on the bill with Little Angels and Billy Idol! James wore a white Mickey Mouse T-shirt and looked great. This show was broadcast on radio 1 and was on a bootleg with I think tracks from the evening session. Anyone got it?

I think its been at least a dozen since on pretty much every tour but keep forgetting which. Must be great to follow them for a whole tour. Some must have deep pockets and understanding bosses!

I will join you in shame here and admit that I went to that gig too - in fact I went to both Bon Jovi shows! But in my defense it was solely to see the Manics. And it was great to see a hairy old rocker wandering around in an All Rock'nRoll is Homosexual t-shirt. I went to those Cardiff gigs too.
