10 years to the Manic Millennium, you guys!
Let's all celebrate this wonderful concert.
One of my first Manics memories was getting the VHS tape of 'Leaving the 20th century' So let's discuss the performance, the setlist, their clothes, etc. |

James - Erm, black shirt..................................
Performance wise I thought it was pretty mega! (As James would say! ) Great memories of watching bits of it on the telly and being teased about my Manics crush!

I honestly can't believe it was 10 years ago... I was sick in my bed while it happened!

I had *such* a good time that day/night. Was drunk on neat vodka by 10.30 am, nearly got arrested, was given loads of fags and booze and fell down a whole flight of stairs on the way in. I cried all the way through ' Small Black flowers' What a drunken sad act, hahaha!

I was right at the front of the gates where the police were. We were getting squashed and asked them to open the gates, to which they refused, so I started singing 'We are the pigs' to them, they weren't impressed and told me if I didn't shut up they'd arrest me and I'd miss the gig. Spoilsports!

well, that's as much as I can remember, maybe I was quite rude with it too, (heaven forbid) unbelievable, I know
At least they let me in straight away, unlike at the Roundhouse where they made me wait until LAST until i'd sobered up or something. Oh, the humanity! |

I wish I would be in the gig but I wasn't even a fan back then. anyway, I have the dvd and I enjoy it alot. I love the little dance that James did, Nicky change outfit like his friggin maddona, Nicky trying to smash the bass in the end (laughed so hard I almost pee), the interviews between and ofcourse the songs themsleves. Well I love every bit in the dvd. |

A cameraman came into my workplace once and he was wearing his Manic Millenium tee one of the days. Unfortunately I had a chat with him in the break room the day before he wore it so never got a chance to ask him about it! Darn! Can't believe it's 10 years ago now either! Scary!
