I was really into the Foos a few years ago and was gutted when my hubby refused to go to that City of Manchester Stadium gig, but as I now like the Manics more than the Foos I too would prefer a nice long set from them rather than a brief support slot! If such a show was to go ahead I'd definitely go though, if it was in the right place at the right time!

very true, support plays no more than 10-13 songs so we'd get Greatest Hits every time. no thank you

don't think i can be arsed sitting through a 2 and a half hour foos set with all the guitar and drum solos..yawn

I haven't liked a Foos album since TCATS, and I found them boring the last few times I saw them. If they headlined, I'd leave before they came on. As for that Manchester gig, I did actually buy a ticket but didn't make it thanks to the imbeciles that ran my student halls at the time not sorting the post properly.

I know what you mean, it's the live "extended jams" that turned me off the Foos - 15 minutes of Stacked Actors is a bit much for my low concentration span!

Already been done and I went, it was a great night but FF weren't as good as at the MEN the year before.

I know it's been done.But I'd love to see them play in the same bill again.Agreed a good long set from the Manics,not just the Greatest hits either.
