They say they have the signature and are getting back in touch today with a copy of the signature.
Then we'll now whether it is my Girlfriend's signature or not.
It's like, I don't mind paying over the odds outside because the gig is more important to me than money, but it is just the principle of it.
I'm hoping to buy tickets outside this Friday and then sort out some sort of refund in the coming weeks, I just feel on edge now as to whether there will be tickets getting sold outside.
I've been looking forward to this for ages now.

Yeah I know mate, it's a shit situation, I'm sure there will be touts and it'll feel bad to buy off em but I know this gig is important to you so I'll forgive you. I hope they do get it sorted, it obviously won't be your girlfriend's signature, probably someone within the system, me any my family had a similar thing where someone ordered and signed for a telly under our name, it was probably someone involved with the store in that case.

It's pretty shit when they make the big deal about you needing ID to sign for it.

Looking forward to it a lot now.

Flying out from Cork tomorrow and hitting the town hard tomorrow evening.

Regarding what Franny said; I've been to Liverpewwwwwl many times for the footie and I've never had a problem. It's like any big city, just mind your own business and you'll be grand.

Just a quick question re: the venue; is it easy to find? Do I just walk along Mount Pleasant until I see a sign or whatever?

If you're coming from Lime St it's probably quicker to walk up Brownlow Hill. For parking, probably better to go up Mount Pleasant. I admit that these directions may be eighteen years out of date.

Thanks, Relic. I'm sure I'll find it. It it on a main road or do I have to go through the campus?

Just walk left out of Lime Street to the Adelphi Hotel, then left again up Brownlow Hill right to the top and the venue is right there! About a fifteen minute walk.

Ok, I'll instigate! I'll set off around 5PM, should take me an hour to get there and I'll basically be standing as outside of the venue as I can, chain smoking and being patient. I can't drink anymore so I can't meet any of you in the bar.
My trusty leather jacket is getting it's zip replaced so I'll be there in my denium jacket the same tone as my jeans probably, being mocked by passers by. Just look for the beard and glasses I suppose.
At the worst we can nod and wave to each other at other ends of the venue?
Or should I set out a couple of hours earlier?

I have a spare ticket for this gig, if anyone would like to buy it, at face value, my friend can't make it. I'm coming from Taunton so won't be in Liverpool till later on in the eve but if anyone wants to meet me there, let me know and we can arrange a time.

Cool. I'm having the zip replaced on my mouth, so will just have plain old flapping lips. I'll keep an eye out...
