The intro to Black Square reminds me of a song that was always on the radio in the 90s, The Lightning Seeds or one of those bands I never had any interest in.

I was listening to the second cd this afternoon and as soon as Blister Mirrors started my husband came into the room and said me that the intro is pretty much the same of the Demis Roussos's "When I'm a kid". Now that I've listened it I think he's right.

As posted in the thread for the song, The Last Time I Saw Paris makes me think of this ad:

Just watched a Bruce Springsteen DVD and thought the verse to Outlaw Pete sounded very like the guitar in the verse of Walk Me to the Bridge (although not to the extent of Badlands / All We Make Is Entertainment)

Black Square reminds me of one of the songs from Falcon, the courteeners second album. It's either Lullaby or Cameo Broach. Not sure which one.

Each time Divine Youth begins I can't help but thinking of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD).

It struck me recently that 'Kodawari' sounds like a slowed down 'Walk Me To The Bridge', especially the chorus.
