The artwork is quite nice actually and it certainly looks like caldey island in the background, which is a nice callback to the walk me to the bridge b-side. Though i think it was someone somewhere on twitter who said it looks like the cover of one of those cheap paperback thrillers you take with you on your hols and now i cannot unsee it. Getting a pdf* (you can save it) of the lyric booklet also feels like the height of technological sophistication for the manics - by the way, it's 'people machines' not 'papal machines' in orwellian.

Direct lineage between The Boy From The Plantation, Without Knowing The End (Joan's Song) and Orwellian?
Nothing to be ashamed of and very positive direction. Has at least killed off interest in watching the trailer again! Got past the Orwellian bit and then paused it thinking "No. I want to save it for the album.". I've previously watched the trailer but can't remember how specific bits went.
