If it's the picture I'm thinking of, I'm very visible in it, also. It looks like I'm covering my eyes.

I love Pedestal so if we get a couple reminiscent of that one I'll be happy! But I don't mind. Whatever! It'll be rocking either way!

Brilliant article, pulls off difficult trick of making it interesting to the likes of us while not putting off the general reader.

Interesting to hear how passionate Sean is about the band, maybe he's been keeping them together all these years!

Oh and is anyone else finding Nicky's faux-self-deprecating thing incredibly tiresome at this stage. He comes out with something along these lines in virtually every interview:
Quote:
"I mean, it's just bizarre looking back to think we ever had a chance out here. Grunge was breaking everywhere, everyone looked like a sack of shit, and then we turned up looking like the New York Dolls."

He sighs melodically. "It was never gonna happen."

f*cking hell Funny title, isn't it, but I'm really afraid it'll be another SATT, although another JFPL or even Lifeblood would be better. But who cares now, I'm looking forward to hear it

haha, no I quite like it, I'm always quite enamoured by his melodramatic and wistful comments. It's like he's putting on a show for interviews, and I find the show quite entertaining.

I also think that he could quite easily have said what he said in a fairly unassuming way, but when it's actually put there in print, it looks like it's said for dramatic effect. Print often makes off-the-cuff comments look really grandiose and pretentious.

Goes without saying, but way better written and tons more evocative than the NME article. Thanks for the link! If ever I'm feeling glum, I'll return to the article and be reminded of just how wonderful this tour was!
