Whats happening with that new temporary venue thats going in down towards the show grounds? All i have seen advertised is ice skating are car or home exhibitions. Going by the pictures, it looks like a fine sized venue.

There was a Star Wars convention down there recently. I heard that the space was used well (no pun intended). It's capacity is 3000ish.

The only issue that I would have with it is that it's not tiered. This is a pain in the hole if you're all the way at the back. It'd work fine for dance gigs where nobaby is looking at the stage anyway.

I doubt it has a permanent P.A. system either which would mean the sound would more than likely be shite.

2001 Prague gig was unfortunately also cancelled, I got the ticket! But they apologized personally in 2002 on stage in Prague, so it's OK

It really does baffle me why they neglect Europe so much.
I regularly visit Holland, Germany and Belgium and the Manics seem quite huge.
I remember visiting Holland in 2002 and There By The Grace Of God seemed to playing everywhere I went.
It really suited the cold and wide open spaces in Rotterdam. Man, I fucking love that song.

after the show in Edinburgh, I heard James saying something like "maybe some festivals" to a question from some other non-uk fan. I didn't hear the question though.

Me too. I'm gonna try and make a few of the European dates (hopefully). I'd definitely be keen if they played Berlin, as I'd really like to go back there. We'll see how it goes.
