ASM sounds like Nicky broke Franz Ferdinand's 'take me out'.

Kodawari is magnificent, even if it is a rip-off of the Manic Street Preachers classic, Walk Me To The Bridge.

They're both fairly awful tracks. Glad they weren't part of the extra tracks we got on the deluxe version!

I actually just googled "Tom's msg board". Yeah, I did that.

In other news. Kodawari is interesting - nothing super special, but some good stuff in there - but there is really nothing to do with it on the tracklist, unless there's a good vocal track before it, and I'm afraid Anti Social Manifesto is not good enough. Neither are Caldey or Sound of Detachement, so there goes the hope for an 18 track supermasterpiece. Unless the next single has some amazeballs b-sides I guess.

Quite like the last bit of Antisocialmanifesto. The instrumental is decent as well.

So they did "at least nine extra tracks for the album" (from the Clashmusic interview).

1. Blistered Mirrors
2. Empty Motorcade
3. Last Time I Saw Paris
4. Anti Social Manifesto
5. Kodawari
6. The Sound of Detachment
7. Caldey

And counting. What a magnigficent era, truly.

at a guess, next single b-sides will probably be Anti Social Manifesto & Kodawari anyway, alongside maybe 1-2 more O2 tracks.

Kodawari reminds me of Revolutions era Jean Michel Jarre

The sudden tune/mood switch on Anti Social Manifesto is all kinds of hilarious brilliance.

Still haven't listened to these in full yet… waiting for my Japanese CD (I got a nice big order from Japan, spreads the shipping cost per item if there's other stuff you want) so it's due by Tuesday for me, but I'm looking forward to Kodawari especially.
