I'm not going to this one after all. Have fun everyone who's going!

Have a good night everyone who's going. The Libertines and Placebo have done Cure covers already at this. What do people reckon the Manics would cover if they chose to do a Cure song? I can imagine Inbetween Days sounding good, but reckon they may go for something darker and more obscure...

Glad to see Nicky back on the bass! It's just not the same without him there.

That was bloody brilliant. I’m completely overwhelmed and shattered. So wonderful to see Nicky when I wasn’t really expecting him to be there. Hold me like a Heaven and People Give In were utterly amazing live. If you saw a woman in an Anchoress t shirt and leopard print headband completely wigging out in the rear stalls aisle, that was me

I'm SO happy I ended up going to this - I really hate seated venues but I bought a cheap rear stalls ticket just so I could be in the room. The crowd around me was pretty dead but there were a couple empty seats next to me so I had room to move - was my first time hearing Motown Junk, and The Cure very well might be my favorite band of all time so the Inbetween Days cover was *so* much fun. Just wish I could have been down in front!

I love both songs, but happy enough to have them dropped so I could see the whole set and be able to get back to the train in time afterwards!
