I hope they felt suitably chastised

Seriously hope no one had their gig ruined...if he felt he had to say something must've been bad

I didn't see what happened but whoever it was was bundled out by security shortly afterwards. I was really glad to see James call him out on his behaviour - imagine being able to play guitar like that and stop people being idiots at the same time!

Don't know why but the twattery at manics gigs has seemed to soar over the past few years. Really wish people would cop the fuck on and just enjoy the show without ruining someone else's fun.

Yeah surprising as most of us are all old gits now I've always felt safe at manics gigs. I'd hate to be forced to hang back or have to book seats cos standing becomes too unpredictable.

My friend and I were making the same joke on the way home. It's worth saying that I often look at the set lists from home and think "ugh, really?", but when I'm actually at the gig I never feel like that, I'm too busy enjoying myself. I didn't mind the GT material at all, it's what got me bouncing last night (and Cardiff too), and I honestly don't know which of those songs I'd have been willing to sacrifice (they all made my night and went down an absolute storm with the crowd) but at the same time it's a shame when 7 out of 14 albums are completely ignored.

He seemed well up for it. He did a ridiculous amount of pogoing for a man who mentioned that he's 52 years old maybe six times over the course of the gig Nicky seemed to be having a really good time too, quite active at times. It was great to see.

This is My Truth - the album to get people all riled up. On the 20th Anniversary tour, there was crowd trouble at the London Shepherd's Bush show I went to (cannot remember if I read about trouble at the other show there), and the instances of the band stopping playing at the Birmingham show I went to due to a seemingly worse incident.

I think I read there was trouble in Southampton too for that tour.

It's a small thing, but liking how they are using the backing vocal samples for the big chorus in the new songs.

Oh I didn't notice that. Presumably that means Sean is playing to a click?

Fabulous gig, it’s good to be back isn’t it?

Snowing sounded epic, crowd really got into that one. Quite enjoyed Low Hummer also.

Good to see friends old and new.

On a side note, I thought the security were excellent all the way and dealt with that moment swiftly.

Seems that there is trouble at alot of Manics gigs though defused quickly it's still unpleasant. Did anything happen at the Cardiff Castle in 2015?

I don't think I've actually witnessed it yet at their gigs but violence is everywhere sadly

I would imagine so. They used the samples in the BBC gig as well. They should have been doing that for years. No shame in samples. Sapporo sounds fantastic with them.

I think the only fracas in Cardiff was between James and his guitar (R.I.P guitar)
