That's basically right, Amanda. I started interviewing fans at the end of October 2002, just prior to the start of the European portion of the Forever Delayed tour. Major shoots with the band took place in April 2005, September/October 2005, October/November 2006, and April/May 2007. The shooting we did during the US tour was for extras and for filling out the ending, as we were unable to shoot during the recording of Journal For Plague Lovers.

There is an explanation of the process by which the band became involved in the film, and of why production of the film has taken so long, in the interview we did for the R*E*P*E*A*T Fanzine this past September. It can be found here: R*E*P*E*A*T Fanzine.

I almost wish the footage of me from December 2002 had survived, just to see what I was like that long ago!

shocking to hear what Nicky said about ahving trouble concentrating, he always looks so present and enjoying himself. James is just channelling the MSP spirit!

Have you also still got that footage from Boston with Nicky and the sign? It was a great angle on the crowd shoutypointying.

That's awesome, thanks! I loved Boston! I'll have to watch it when I get home, my work computer hates videos.

Posh smiley.

They should've ask what James thinks upon somebody shouting for Sleepflower?
"F**king C**t"

And Nicky upon hearing "Libraries gave us power"?
"Ahhh, my politics degree!"

I'm really looking forward to this film. It's gonna be great.

I really kind of hope I spot myself in this film when it's eventually done. I'll be unrecognisable to the way I look now, but the Manics have been such a huge part of my life that it would be ace to feature in something that's all about them and their fans.

I wonder if a 'No Manifesto Tour' is on the cards?????

A screening followed by a few songs live??/

Just like Take That are doing on 15th November at Brixton Academy and similar to what Oasis did some years ago!
