Signed Manics Vinyl (Inc. Richey) - Authenticating help

Hi,

Hope someone can help me. I've purchased a Manics Vinyl which is signed by the whole band (Richey included) on a Stay beautiful single. I purchased it from a fellow collector who I trust, but he has so far been unable to authenticate it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on places where I could authenticate the signatures for the whole band?

Also It would be great if anyone could post pictures of signed items (esp from Richey) so I might also be able to take a peek to compare with my own eyes.

Many Thanks

PONYO.

Posting a photo of yours will get a general yay or nay verdict off here. So many fakes crop up on ebay it's easy to spot them.

I'll prob get authenticated just in case, but wud still be good to have peoples opinions.

Bare in mind this would have been signed early-mid 90's so would be good if people could compare with signed items from same period, rather than items signed late 90's 2000's incase they changed (even slightly)

Here's pic;

wasn't there some time ago a copy of EMG with 'Richey's sign'?

I can't say if the one on SB is 4real. I'm not the expert. but afair Nicky, at the beginning of their career was writing his full Nickname.

Richey, Nicky and Sean's signatures look 100% genuine to me. Like Jack says, Sean's never changes.

James' seems to change all the time - mostly based on how arsed he can be to sign, it seems. But it looks a lot like others I've seen.

These are a couple from Nicky & Richey from around the same time, which were on ebay recently:

Yep I'd say that's pretty genuine IMO. I've got a couple of things signed like that from the early days and they are the same as yours.

I'd say it's the real deal - Richey had a very distinctive R and the way the c runs into the h is typical.

James's sig has changed slightly but still has that distinctive long J.

Sean's hasn't changed at all.

Nicky's has become more of a graph than a sig but that looks right for the era.

Looks quite similar to mine;

I think they're both legit, but I might be biased.
