Noooo. Maybe James wills tep in do a charity gig or something. They could probably even move into the new centre though it wont be the same wherever they go

Noooo it will be a sad day if Spillers closes,with all the history it has.Lets hope they find new premises.It won't be the same without Spilliers in Cardiff

They can't close Spillers!!!! It NEEDS a new premesis quickly, although as has already been mentioned, it won't be the same

Nooo I love that shop. This is what filesharing and buying CDs from supermarkets does to small businesses. Makes me angry.

Seriously though, that's a shame. Birmingham's finest record shop (Tempest) closed recently - sad times.

Well that and the fact that the rent on the Spillers shop went up by a stupid amount making it almost impossible to carry on making a profit.

One positive thing is that they've said that the new shopping centre hasn't lost them any business. Hopefully they can find somewhere suitable and carry on.

Yeah Swordfish is still there I think, shame all they ever do is stand around talking about Led Zeppelin. They could be helping to promote Birmingham's music scene but they'd rather just concentrate on bands who were in their prime 30+ years ago.
