The only point I can figure about the Muse cover is that its striking and stands out - good for marketing. Almost as good marketing as banning a cover.......

I reckon it must have been an organized fan voting thing: haven't Muse got one of the most fanatical fanbases? Normally I'd suspect the same thing when the Manics finish high in these polls but JFPL has a genuinely stunning cover.

I think JFPL's cover is great, but honestly I like the Muse one better. I don't think much of the Fever Ray one though.

They are quite obsessive and well organised. i've met a few mega fans and lurked a bit on the forum. Manics fans are still the best though.

Muse rely too much on Storm or from ripoffs of his work. I've never rated him, even his 'classic' Pink Floyd covers aren't actually very good.
