I'm not confident I'll be able to go (for various reasons), so I left it for someone else to get 'my' tickets. Good luck to everyone who booked, fingers crossed we don't have an 'Indian Summer' of an all-too virulent kind!

Got tickets for Edinburgh and Glasgow today, will debate Dundee on Friday.

Just to start keeping my fingers crossed until we get to them!

I guess we'll have... we'll have to test ourselves?

Maybe this time we'll kiss and not shake hands

I can just imagine Wire realising this and saying "I've always come up with very prophetic words in my lyrics."

I managed to get seating for Manchester - I'm way too old for standing and jumping (will probably pull something like Nicky ends up doing) and I'm height-challenged too. I do love Manchester as a place - I last saw them at the arena for the RIF tour. Looking forward to seeing the Anchoress too. Should be a good night!

I wish they'd film one of these new gigs for a blu ray or something, something in a cool venue after such a waste of 18 months - like the Halifax gig, that's an amazing place for a concert, or one of the NHS shows even? Make it into a mini documentary film? Sure Keiran Evans would do it.

I’d take the O2 or a JFPL gig first

I hope everyone gets the tickets they want.

If all continues to go reasonably well on the Covid front, I'm going to Cardiff both nights, and Halifax too, as I already have tickets. I'm another one who isn't psychologically ready for a tour yet.

Can I play devil's advocate for a second and ask if there is any financial reason for putting tickets on sale for gigs that probably have a 50/50 chance of taking place on the advertised date? I imagine the band get the money straight away anyhow and simply have an obligation to fulfil the gigs at some point be it in 2022 or 2023 or whenever. I'm just wondering how it all works considering that they are the first act advertising and selling tickets to a multi-date tour in 2021/22.

Tentative steps.
Not sure if I mentioned I won't see them on this tour. Been a while since that happened. But accepted at worst I'll just never see them tour for this album.

No one buys music dvds anymore sadly.

Good luck to everyone with ticket madness this morning.

I don't think things will sell out too quickly, I'm guessing a lot of people are probably going to hold off a while until they're happier with the current situation. We'll see though.

I think they’ll do well to sell 30% of the capacity of most venues.
