Had a brilliant night, James did so well and enjoyed Nicky's Solo. Also enjoyed BSP last night, i think there were some different songs and am glad they are back with the trees, thats how i remebered seeing them at IOW festival. Just heard about the Manics at hard rock cafe but i'll be in Australia so i'll miss that I spoke to James after the gig last night, as i have said many times, he is SSOOoooo lovely. Hoping to get to London gigs in January, they are so addictive.

Yes yes yes! I think I claimed after the gig yesterday that Nicky's solo spot was the best moment of my entire life, which was a slight exaggeration, but it was probably the best 5 minutes of this month.

I'm certainly going to agree. It was just.. so utterly brilliant.

It was just perfect. James was funny when you said about him 'letting' Nicky sing.

Brilliant and hilarious. It's the look on his face of 'They're letting ME sing!'. Like a puppy with a new toy. It's not always about the vocals (lets face it, he's flat as a pancake) it can be about the soul you put into it too. Take Conor Oberst's earlier tracks with Bright Eyes, hardly the greatest voice in the world but songs packed full of meaning.

Please stop him singing, or whatever you want to call it. He cannot sing, nobody can argue that so why does he bother?

For the entertainment value and pleasing the crowd? No doubt it got a massive cheer last night. More than Ocean sodding Spray has on the whole tour.

Oi! Stop dissing Ocean Spray! I'm with Radiomanic with regards to Nicky's singing though fair enough, it allowed James to have a bit of a breather.

We really enjoyed it last night - it was Amanda's 100th Ocean Spray anniversary so we put a lot of effort in!

This tour has finished me off for that song. I think the lack of Australia meant I needed something else to give up on.
