Or better yet, a link to buy the Japanese CD (if it's not too expensive...)?
cdjapan.co.jp

Price varies with exchange rate.
If you're sensible with postage works out at about £20
However if customs get the package you have to pay about £10 extra to cover VAT and the Royal Mail admin fee.

It’s funny, but it’s no Blackstar ad...

Would really love to go to one of the shows (prob London) but it would be a headache. And cost more than I'd want to pay for travel. Am I getting too old now in my early 30s? My last Manics gig was the singles gig at the O2 in 2011 and really don't want that to be my last ever Manics gig!!!!

Do it! You're not as old as me and I'm doing London (and maybe another).

I'm in my 40s mate and I'm going to 4. You see lots of older people at manics gigs. You still a youngster

That press shot isn't the best is it ? I thought James and Sean were wearing the same shirt for a minute. Still.. at least it's got people talking

Aw the meme stemming from that countryside picture should be taken with the tongue in cheek attitude it was made in. I was pleasantly surprised it took off on Twitter, as that kind of thing doesn't tend to happen to the Manics (outside of the fandom, I mean)

As for going to gigs...the thought briefly crosses my mind every time tours come round that maybe I'm too old to do multiple gigs per tour, but then I do it anyway I'd rather book than miss out (only if I can afford it though, obviously).

It has become a meme. The *really* funny thing is it's a rehash of the same surface level mocking of the band re: weight/fashion/age going back to 1996-1998.

Graham Linehan getting behind something is a sure sign that the opposite is true. Such a fallen star.

Just dug into this... yes, at the beginning that's Sequels to Forgotten Wars, slowed down a lot.

Again, it's just a track slowed down a lot, I believe it's a small snippet of In Eternity you refer to here.

I really don't think any malice was intended with it. I've also not seen any comments about their weight either? More that their suits look crumpled (which they do, come on) and their stance makes it look like they're in a detective show. Most the jokes I've seen have been based around those two things, which say more about whoever styled them and took the photo than anything about the band themselves.

Come on FD, you've managed to be positive about the new album, don't let me down over a bloody meme
