The Secret He Had Missed - Who sang it better, Cat or Julia?
I'd go with Cat who's a touch more soulful but Julia is brilliant too. Love this song too. I've read various underlying themes/meanings but in the end, I think it's about Richey.

It’s not about Richey. It’s about Welsh painters Augustus John and Gwen John who, despite being siblings and both celebrated for their art, lived polar opposite lives.

What Mr Richey said. It's so easy to read every track as a reflection on Richey but in this case that doesn't fit, especially when the song writer's explanation does.
Anyway, I think Julia sang it better. I really love her vocal on the track. But Cat's is also beautiful.

They are both great vocals but worth remembering Cat’s version is an out standing live vocal and it’s much easier in a studio with as many takes as necessary to get the best take.
