He did lots of great solos. Great standart solos - by standart I don't mean anything bad or disrespectful.
But there are some exceptional solos or guitar bits:

Locust Valley
Comfort Comes
Die in the Summertime

and yes, both This is Yesterday and Donkeys are great.

Couldn't possibly pick a fave but love the solo's in Kodachrome Ghosts and Never Wanted Sunshine.

For me its probably Stay Beautiful, its just so right and brilliantly fast at the end.

Good shout. Does 'Design For Life' count? It's payed with strings on the album, but sometimes when played live James does a solo for the bridge. Love that.
