This isn't going to work at all I'm afraid. I'll participate though as I don't have a digital copy and can't be bothered to search for my CD to rip it.
It would be better to try and organise a proper campaign for next year. Motorcycle Emptiness for week of 1st February? I only say ME as it's a popular song.

We could make it into the top 10. But if it fails and we try another campaign for a manics track people migh well get bored with it.

I see there is also a campaign to get The Sex Pistols 'God Save the Queen' to be the first No 1 of the New Year, I wonder who will win: Manics v Sex Pistols, there's only one way to find out!!

I sense this is going to become a common thing now, and one that has already gotten old.

I'm glad the band will miss out on the heyday of a practice that would fill the number 1 slots with as much shit as Cowell did in the first place? As well as ruining the orignal power of the songs. The Christmas number one feat will be more talked about than the actual meaning of the song. But then didn't the media just talk only about the "Fuck You!" bits anyway? ...Not that I'm bitter because nobody would agree Van Der Graff Generator's "The Pioneers Over C" would be the best track to download? |

I was wondering when we'd see a Rage influenced campaign. I going to bet Joe is the first No.1 of 2010.
