Manic Street Preachers signed & hand-decorated Fender: £1,020.00
Manic Street Preachers Signed and custom-made Amp: £620.00
Manic Street Preachers Red Fender Tornado: £820.00

i think the hand decorated fender is much higher due to only have just over a day left where as the other 2 have other 2 days left

FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!!!!! I lost by £1.99

Manic Street Preachers signed & hand-decorated Fender
(Item # 360230396490)
Seller: N/A
Your Max Bid: GBP1801.99
Current Item Price: GBP1800.00

Even though I was the highest bidder, you have to bid in 50 dollar/pound increments. Sooo....because we both put in the same amount at the same time he/she got there first; I saw it coming and didn't have time to change my bid. Fuck, fuck, fuck!

Okay, just had to vent that, 1.99 come on now! It would have been different if it was hundreds of dollars more, but 1.99.

It's okay, the money went to charity, that's why I was bidding on it in the first place. I mean if I saw it in a shop for that price, I would be that's cool; but no way would I pay that.

I hope it went to someone who will really appreciate it because they're a huge fan, or a musician who is, and not some dolt who's gonna just turn around and sell it for an even crazier amount.

It was out of my budget (I work in publishing), however I would've be able to still pay my rent and eat, it's just money and I know that sounds like I'm rolling in it, I'm not; but I eventually would have made it back. There's a large Haitian community in NYC; I have two Haitian friends, who lost a lot more than money.

I saw the second tower fall on 9/11 as it happened, the sound was horrendous I can never forget it, I will never forget how I felt as it happened, powerless to do anything. To be a witness to all those lives lost; including someone I knew. After that it totally changed me, and how I felt about things, I got involved with a lot of charity work.

To see the look on my friend's faces was heartbreaking. That's why I bid, if my money went to save one life it would have made it worth it.

And yeah I really wanted it as a fan, as a musician, and every time I bitched about something I didn’t have it would have been a reminder of all that I do have, when others have nothing.

Sorry, for the rant...
