Don't like the cover - the guitar solo at the end is its one redeeming feature, otherwise it's such a straightforward cover I don't see the point in it at all.

see that's where I disagree I thought the guitar solo at the end ruins it for me

I like the Guitar bit at the beginning that's the best bit for me.I prefer the Manics version more then the original, it's got more power to it.

Lol my friend is exec on the Bandsoc at Warwick and they've been running the Uni's Battle of the Bands comp. At the heat last night she played Umbrella cos I sent her an mp3 of it and apparently people loved it. She had lots of people coming up to her asking who it was and most were saying it was better than the original!
