The remix is alright but the best bit is the first verse/chorus where it's essentially a JDB a cappella. And you can feel the build up coming into the second verse but when it arrives you kinda wish he'd kept to the minimalism of the first third of the remix.

PS. Another defeat to Sweden leaves Wales going into the tournament in dire form. Turns out they're not setting the world alight, can't beat any side or win any fight.

I predict that we never hear this song again after Saturday and ITV plays You Stole the Sun from My Heart after the Russia match.

I've had a revelation.

Stronger Together is a 'potboiler rewrite' of Revol

Compare the verses - listing famous figures against their attributes

The chorus? Compare 'So c'mon Wa-les' with 'Sha-na-na-Re-vol'

Busted.

Didn't spot it in the top 100 of the singles chart just now, so sadly that's another Manics song that just doesn't chart. Man, it's sad when you think about it, that they used to get so many top 10's and 20's and now can't dent the top 100 Oh well.

The singles charts just don't matter anymore. I've pretty much forgotten they exist..
All that football commentary would put some people off and a fiver for the CD ? Would u bother if it was anyone else? I know I wouldn't !

Not that it means the same these days but Together Stronger is number 1 in the physical singles chart....probably because not many people even put physical singles out anymore like, but still

It's managed 72 in the 'sales' chart too, which is what I think it should be about anyway, streams are not any kind of commitment, are they?!!

No.1 in physical chart is cool to hear, and 72 on sales should mean 72 in official chart, I don't understand streaming stuff, I don't know why they brought that into it. Oh well. Yay a kind-of No.1!!!

I think 100 streams count as 1 'sale' or something. Seems eminently riggable to me!

Wow!! I was looking at the wrong chart! Radio One playing it? That would involve listening to that station on the offhand chance of hearing it.
Plus at time of writing, Wales one nil up, so this is their third number one single then!
I never promised to eat my hat or anything...

They might play it if Wales end up in the final
