And if this sits uncomfortably with some, according to the NME (website obvs!) it hasn't been confirmed who's recording the English song... with Ant & Dec.
I think the Manics got off very lightly on that one!

I don't care if it does end up being cheesy and shite, we'll probably never qualify for another tournament again and they've been wanting to do this for yeeeears (so many near yet so fars, thanks Paul Bodin and Russia).

Wonder if they'll sing it on the pitch before the Northern Ireland game

It'll probably be Olly Murs, or Adele or Paloma Faith

I still like to think of them as outsiders, however deluded that may be, and this is just so revoltingly cosy and mainstream. They'll be accepting royal honours next. And as for the title, Coldplay could do better.

With respect that's a load of rubbish. Nothing cosy or mainstream about a team who are complete outsiders for the tournament and just a few years ago were utterly useless.
This is one of those strange situations where 2 virtually lifelong obsessions collide for me so there is no way it can live up to expectation.
Whoever said ghosts of xmas was probably only the mark musically. Fully expect references to pele breaking our hearts and Gary Speed in here somewhere too.
I'm sure they've said before that they have multiple versions of a Welsh football track so wonder if we'll get a bside or a reissue of can't take my eyes off you too ?

Why on earth are people bringing the royals/establishment into this? It's a song for the Welsh football team, because they love football and want to support the Welsh team. I don't think there's anything else to it than that.

Unfortunately the title (minus the bracket part obviously) does sound like something from the EU referendum But it's all meant to be a bit of fun, just take it (or leave it) for what it is.

We're not allowed to have nice things Saying that, I think we've got a half decent shot at World Cup since our group isn't too bad. For that I want a supergroup anthem with SFA as well!

And yeah, this is no more mainstream than appearing on Strictly Come Dancing *cough* The band love this team so why not.

The title does sound a bit EU now you all mention it. Maybe they should've titled it 'Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae' instead

Before I make any decision, I always think "What would Richey think of me if I did this?"
