Daylight robbery! (I'll end up with one anyway, I'm afraid... I've got no willpower. )

Yeah well seeing as a mug and t-shirt together cost me £37 it is expensive. The quality is nothing like it used to be on merch tho. My national treasures mug handle broke within months and the t-shirts are very thin quality and look to fade after a wash or two. I find the merch from 2007 and before was the best. I still have my 1st Manics top from 96 and it's in fab condition! After 2007 you've got no chance.

that's why i barely wear shirts. My lifeblood skinny looks near mint and I wore that a lot. I could tell my JFPL shirts onwards would last about 5 minutes so i've not really worn them. I imagine the prices have gone up because gigs are where bands make their money these days. Album sales are pitiful.

That's the same for ticket prices.Going to a gig was way cheaper back in the 90's.But cds are at a low price now.I remember those did cost me what today would be €17 more or less and a cassette something about €12.

it's not the low price tho'. It's that they're not selling in the quantities they used to. If you know where to look everything's free.

I would say bands make the most money out of merchandising, you would think the bigs groups would have made enough money now though but they seem to rip the fans off more

Fuck knows who is in charge of their merch. Some good and some bad designs in recent years. Wouldn't mind another shirt but not sure I'll stretch to it.

I'm way too old for shirts now so don't have the worry although I don't think I've ever spent anything on a Merchandise store, although I can remember buying some Osmond badges at a gig in 1972
