So we’re all agreeing to buy this album to help fund a Richey hologram? I’m in.

Surely Flicker would be more appropriate for a hologram?

Only if you actually like the album. Otherwise any album from the back catalogue with the obvious exception of PFAYM*.

*If you buy PFAYM then the Richey hologram will be aged based on digital extrapolation of the other band members faces and James waistline.

I didn’t buy the PFAYM shoebox at the time as I didn’t want to enable such behaviour but I did buy it at a later discount and I’d probably buy a similarly shoeboxed new album today.

I can see now why the drum sound is so bad on this album - it's literally just because everything is drenched in reverb. I'm actually looking forward to hearing the demos for these songs as they might actually sound better without the overproduction.

Good luck with that, I had similar hopes for the deluxe edition and demos of PFAYM and the only glimmer of light there was Nicky's demo on the casette.

Thing is that we've pretty much all pre-ordered it for a release date of yesterday so I think it's only fair we get to hear it when it was meant to come out.

Release dates are shit anyway, all to do with chart positions and it's not like they will gain or lose any followers through this leak which came from a proper source! In these days of digital distribution bands should just be able to drop an album unannounced.

Nicky wants number ones, end of. If Senjutsu hadn't dropped yesterday you would be listening to your digital and CD pre-orders now. Possibly even the vinyls as I don't believe that th shortage caused that much disruption to the Manics.

I wasn't criticizing ...even if you hadn't pre-ordered ...up to you what you do ....personally can't be bothered with the faff of the VPN ...I'm that lazy ...happy to wait a week .... currently more excited about Abba's new album
