(the duplication of tracks 5/6 and 8/9 on disc 2 are what's listed, could be an error, could be two different versions maybe?)

That looks like disc 2 will have non-duet version of the duets, fantastic! I too am a little weary of the duets.

Based on Glyn's post above:

We live in Orwellian times
It's feels impossible to pick a side
In sentences that dance and hide
The truth becomes a broken lie

Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past, the books begin to burn
I'm walking through the apocalypse
Where me and you could coexist
Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past, the books begin to burn
Words wage war , meanings being missed
I'll walk you through the apocalypse

We live in Orwellian times
A deepening sense of fear and crime
Up on the playing heels (?), in exclusive clubs
On the paper machines
Still making fools of us

Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past the books begin to burn
I'm walking through the apocalypse
Where me and you could coexist
Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past the books begin to burn
Words wage war , meanings being missed
I'll walk you through the apocalypse

Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past the books begin to burn
I'm walking through the apocalypse
Where me and you could coexist
Everywhere you look, everyway you turn
The future fights the past the books begin to burn
Words wage war , meanings being missed
I'll walk you through the apocalypse

Nearly there, I hear 'playing heels' but it doesn't make sense to me...

Nothing up on any US store so far, and the video is also unavailable here. I am going to be upset if this isn't a global release tomorrow/moving forward. Everything from Even in Exile came out day/date, and even RIF was released here at the same time. Come on guys!

Maybe they're Nick vocal tracks?

When they've done that before there can be a Nicky Demo then a James Demo that's closer to the real thing

I love it.

I wondered if the lyric is “On the playing fields, in exclusive clubs”? Anyone New Zealand who can buy the track and see the lyrics yet?

I heard ‘a deepening sense’ as ‘a deep _ burning sense’, but that works either way, almost as a homophone (deepening/deep burning) or repetition (burn /burning). But I agree it’s probably “deepening” now I read that.

On first listen I heard ‘the clocks begin to burn’ which now I don’t, but wish they did substitute it to that one of the er… times ‘cos it kind of fits the idea of the future fights the past…

oh well.

Or… well, Ian.

Orwellian is not good but not bad enough to moan about. How dare they!

Hope we get a limited edition 7" vinyl for a single or two from this album, was so annoyed they didn't release anything at all from RIF, apart from a super rare blue vinyl for IB.

I've signed up to the HotBot trial, set to Australia, opened Spotify, and Orwellian is still not showing. What am I missing? Help!

Thank you, got it! I think I love it!

Also - on the lyrics, I hear 'playing fields' not 'playing heels'.
