Pro tip. Everyone might want to sell their Lifeblood vinyl before 2024. eBayers go silly for it even though it’s a terrible pressing.

I’m gonna bundle mine with a Manics Heart tee in November.

My hopes for the next few years:

2022 - KYE 21st anniversary reissue and tour
2023 - Album 15 (ideally in October so I can properly celebrate my 30 years as a Manics fan)
2024 - Lifeblood 20th anniversary reissue and tour
2025 - they can have time off (I will turn 50 so will probably need a break after four years of gallivanting round the country following their tours)

A girl can dream! Meanwhile, right now is pretty amazing, isn’t it?

That would be amazing. If JDB can squeeze another solo project in somewhere I will be very happy. I would also assume that Nicky's project will be unleashed either before or after KYE20/21.

I am by no means musical and dont understand the specific complexities etc. Listening to the album and watching you tube clips from this tour i just want to say that i feel there is a confidence and ease with the guitar from james, loving the riffs and just watching him play (even the oldies) he seems so at peace and grounded with his playing.

We must be overdue this decade's Greatest Hits package as well? FD was 2002, NT was 2011...

Agree…… they should build on this occasion and get it out for Christmas whilst there is momentum, there are young people at my work who still only know design for life, tolerate and nothing else and then they don’t know it’s the manics!

GT anniversary next year. Sony signing anniversary too, wasn't it? First thing anyone says when you do something great is "Remember when you did that before?". So expecting waves of nostalgia stuff. TUVL can push back against a lot of that.
Robert Plant only muttered about "Heritage Acts" out of spite.
Manic Street Preachers have a better heritage than Led Zeppelin! And none of your Blues rip offs going on about how your baby won't think of your cock like a log.
That's right... No rivalry with Steps. But Robert Plant didn't mention the band by name. Just "Heritage Acts" in an interview a few weeks ago.
Oi! Plant! Don't fuck with the Manics mate! It's a family and trust in a band nobody other, me or you, could ever have experienced.

So long as we get an equivalent to "A Night of National Treasures" where they play a 40-song set, I'm in!

St David's Hall? Some cool live? Searched youtube but didn't find... a link? I'm very much looking forward to seeing them live during this period. I hear they plan to play deep cuts and b sides too. Perfect sounding...

It's the radio 2 gig from the other day. I think it's only on the BBC iPlayer at the moment. Should end up on YouTube eventually
