That said, as all my choices lost, it's still carrying on as you'll be able to see the choices you voted for that lost. So I'll be able to get my own personal playlist at least.

But because it's split in two one track can benefit from having a 'weaker' field. Cardiff Afterlife won its poll comfortably but people were split between PCP and No Surface All Feeling in the other. And Yes received a higher percentage of votes than Peeled Apples.
