I just love it because I know in my heart that Nicky is going to use that one moment to rationalise his setlist choices in the future
I had no idea what that was play the fucking song and then it won't be obscure nicky!

Yeah, he was a bit premature there, but it was good to see both videos, and the 30 Years War one too.

Nicky did babble on about rugby for quite a long time, I had no idea what he was going on about though, sport is a foreign country for me.

At the Leeds gig (all the below anecdotes are from Leeds for the record) James mentioned the fact that Bruce Springsteen opened the venue last summer and then told the story of how he met him after his Cardiff gig. Apparently he was waiting backstage to meet him and a big film director (he didn't say who) was also waiting and he didn't think Bruce would want to meet him over the director, but Bruce ushered him in (he did his universal impression voice when pretending to be Bruce...naturally). I can't remember the exact words he used, but he was adorably self-deprecating anyway

At some point during the gig James also mentioned Sheffield, cue mass booing/disapproval from the crowd and James said something like "Whatever happened to that post-Olympic spirit?!".

Also was amused when Nicky came out in his sailor outfit, said "Hello sailor!" and joked he'd nicked James' outfit from 1994 and that it had needed to be washed many times since then. This conjured up amusing images in my brain of Nicky trying to fit into anything James once wore

James buggered up part of one of the Revol verses (lyrics-wise) and apologised afterwards for the "brain freeze".

That's all I can remember right now.

To be fair, I heard Tapas Bar too but then again I was standing next to Hummingbird so maybe the message got distorted on the barrier!
