Not cool enough to say hello straight away,I had a beer and the party moved to a private room.
5 mins later James comes out for a smoke and I collar him for a quick chat about the winter tour and the new uk dates.
Corrects me on my Llandudno pronunciation and reminiscences about past Wolverhampton gigs.Told me the first time they played Wolves,Norman Wisdom was on the night before and reaffirmed that it is one of their favourite places to play!

Wow. I'm spinning.Love real life!
Cheers james!
That is so brilliant, you are so lucky. Shame Nicky wasn't there.

BUT ANYWAY Well done Lord of Waz. And quite sensible meeting them down the pub. Best to avoid that scary buffet, methinks. (sorry)

Nice one for the lord of waz to have that night out.
Can we use this thread to discuss what the Manics said in the radio interview as well?
Looks like "70 Songs Of Failure And Hatred" has been kiboshed by James then?

It's been renamed "The Fail Album"

To be honest as much as I love him I think James needs to take less control of an album. It seems to be him that takes control and overproduces the albums, slaps on to much when a song doesn't need it.

Okay maybe its a good idea to cut the album from 70 songs but somewhere between a Nicky album and a James album might be a good idea.

Oh hell, when is Sean releasing that drum and bass album we've all been waiting for?

It sounded like James was saying he wasn't too cool with Nicky's idea of doing a 70-song album (or albums heh). So they'll be doing a new album, but not one with 70 songs on it!
